Saga is a private journaling and reflection platform intended for personal use.

You may use Saga only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

You agree not to:

• misuse the service
• attempt unauthorized access
• interfere with app functionality
• upload harmful or malicious content
• abuse or disrupt Saga's infrastructure

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials and for activities occurring under their account.

Users retain ownership of all journal entries, reflections, tracked data, and other personal content created within Saga.

Saga does not claim ownership over user-created content.

Users are responsible for the content they choose to store within the app.

Saga is designed with privacy and encryption as core principles.

Journal entries and tracked personal data remain encrypted while stored by Saga. Saga personnel cannot access, read, or manually review the contents of user journals or personal tracking data.

Certain AI-generated features such as Reflections, Patterns, and Sleep Stories require temporary processing of relevant journal content after user authentication. During this process, content is detached from personal account identifiers and processed using anonymized identifiers rather than direct user identity information such as names or email addresses. While relevant journal content may be processed to generate these features, Saga personnel cannot view, access, or manually review private journal content.

Saga may provide AI-generated features including:

• Reflections
• Patterns
• Sleep Stories
• Other personalized insights

These features are generated automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies, incomplete interpretations, or unexpected outputs.

AI-generated content is provided for informational and reflective purposes only and should not be considered medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.

Saga may provide tools that allow users to export or retain copies of their journal data and personal content.

Users may also request account deletion and removal of associated data, subject to reasonable technical and backup limitations.

Saga is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saga and Windhelm LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of the service, loss of data, service interruptions, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Users are encouraged to maintain their own copies of exported journal data when such functionality is available.
